Earmarks

http://www.mcclatchydc.com/227/story/66146.html

If you KNOW that earmarks, and pet projects, and pork that only benefit a small segment of society do not belong riding on the coattails of legitimate legislation, then please read this article.

Then check your congressman's web site, then email them and let them know what you think.

I dare ya. I did it, so it can't be that difficult.

  2. My Representative is the infamous Gwendolynne "Spend-o-lynne" Moore. It was a singularly depressing act for me to visit her web page. Because she was put into office by looters for looters, she did not seem to attempt to hide any plunder but rather put as much swag on display as possible. I emailed her anyway, not that it will do any good. Sigh.

  3. Rep Ryan's earmark disclosure was easy to find. All that's there is a pledge to have no earmarks.

When I searched Sen Kohl's site. I can't find anything.

At least Rep Moore has empowered her potential oppoenents with easy access to a list of spending to call her on.
