Like I’ve said before, the recent dragging of waterboarding through the mud is pure stinky stinky politics. But I failed to mention the negative impact on our Nation’s security.
This article by the ex-CIA Director, Porter J. Goss, covers that quite well. His bottom line: “Trading security for partisan political popularity will ensure that our secrets are not secret and that our intelligence is destined to fail us.”
